myGolfscorer allows you to keep an unlimited number of backups of your data. Each backup will perform the following steps:
When you Restore from a backup the above steps will be automatically performed to ensure you never lose any data.
To start a backup simply click the button and myGolfscorer will backup your current data to its default folder. To choose a different folder click on the button just above the Go!
The success of the Backup & Restore operations depends on you having the correct permissions for the folders where your backups are stored. If myGolfscorer is unable to perform one or more functions, the error will be displayed in the log at the bottom of the screen. If the errors persist, please contact myGolfscorer support by going to the Support page.
To restore a backup, select the file from the list and click Restore Backup.
Note: You cannot backup to a CD or a DVD as this involves burning operations which are beyond the scope of myGolfscorer. To backup to one of these media carriers create a backup of your data on your hard drive and then burn the file on to the CD or DVD with one of the many commercially available burning programs.
